Beautiful stay! Positive: We had a fantastic stay, such a comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation! We’re always very cautious with our pup, but there wasn’t a single thing on the floor for him to get into. It was absolutely immaculate. We stayed for three nights and ended up spending two of them just relaxing indoors because the space was so enjoyable. Being able to sign into our Netflix on the TV was handy and the pool table provided plenty of entertainment which was a great touch! There was also lots of fridge space, which made it easy to stock up on our own food and drinks and fully enjoy cosy nights in. Plenty of heating with a log burner in the corner, radiators in the living area and bedroom as well as funky pictures on the wall that are actually heaters as well! First night it felt like we took a while to warm up but after that it was great! The view from the top of the bunker is beautiful. If the weather had been a bit better, we would have spent even more time up there, it’s easy to imagine sitting with a chair and taking it all in. We also loved the coastal walk accessible through the estate. Spotted a few creatures on our ventures including a Roe deer, a Newt and some Toads outside while it was a very rainy night! We would 100% stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others! Negative: We were a little surprised by the £30 non-refundable waiver charge at first. However, it’s clear the property is very well maintained, and you can see that the money is put to good use—everything is finished to a really high standard. The only thing we slightly missed was having access to a washing machine. We were out on lots of walks with the dog, so it would have been handy for cleaning a few things. That said, we managed perfectly fine without it. Space is understandably limited, but it’s worth mentioning in case it’s something that matters to other guests - but wouldn't let that put anyone off by all means!

Positive: The location, the history, the interior. Negative: Kitchen could have had a tiny bit more work space.
