The apartment helped to make our stay truly memorable. Positive: Comfortable and spacious. Although we did not use them, good cooking facilities. Stunning location with amazing views towards Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat. It is within easy walking distance of Ocean Terminal and the Royal Yacht Britannia. The bus stop is just outside and buses were frequent. The tram is also nearby as are restaurants. Negative: We would have liked teaspoons! The water in the shower over the bath was not easy to regulate.

Positive: The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was excellent – although it’s a bit outside the city centre, it is very well connected by public transport, making it easy to get around. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, and pleasant, with a lovely local atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Negative: The apartment itself was good, but our arrival was very stressful. This is a self check-in property, yet we did not receive the check-in instructions before According to the booking details, check-in was available from 3:00 PM. I asked in advance for the access code, but was told that it would be sent shortly before our arrival. We informed the host that we expected to arrive after 5:00 PM, but we actually reached Edinburgh earlier. By around 4:00 PM, we still had not received any check-in instructions, and our messages and phone calls went unanswered. As a result, we had to contact Booking.com for assistance because we had no way of accessing the apartment. The access details were finally sent just a few minutes before 5:00 PM. This made our arrival unnecessarily stressful. In our view, the check-in information should have been provided before the official check-in time, regardless of our estimated arrival time.
